n8n template — quote follow-up
A flow that follows up on unanswered quotes, twice at most, and logs every send in your spreadsheet.
In the works
What you need before buying
- A running n8n instance required · depends on your usage
- A Google account, for Sheets API key to connect required · free
- SMTP sending, for the emails the flow sends out API key to connect required · free
Accounts and API keys are on you. They are not included in the price.
n8n Cloud or self-hosted, your choice. Setup time : About 30 minutes
You send a quote, the person does not reply, and three weeks later you realize you forgot to follow up. It is the cheapest contract to go after, and the one most often lost.
This flow reads a spreadsheet of sent quotes, spots the ones that have gone quiet long enough, sends a polite follow-up, and logs the date. It stops on its own after two follow-ups — a third does not win a contract, it costs a reputation.
Every setting lives in a single node: delays, sender, signature. You do not have to dig through the rest. The two email texts are written to be reread and rewritten in your own voice.
What's in the box
- The n8n flow file, ready to import
- Eight notes inside the flow: every part explains what it does
- Setup documentation written for someone who has never opened n8n
- A spreadsheet template with the columns already named
- A table of common failures, sorted by symptom
It does not read your clients' replies: you mark won or lost by hand. It does not create quotes, sends no text messages, and is not a CRM.
What the flow touches
- It reads
- The rows of the spreadsheet you point it at: name, address, subject, amount, dates.
- It writes
- Two columns of that same sheet — the follow-up count and the date — plus an email to your client.
- What leaves your instance
- Nothing leaves your instance. No server of mine is called.
What you get
The flow file, the setup documentation, and nothing else. No account to create, no section to unlock. You download it, it is yours, and it stays yours.
Support included
If the template will not import, or if a node in the delivered file does not behave as the documentation describes, write to me: that is my work and I fix it. Not included: adapting it to your case, configuring your accounts, debugging your instance, and getting it running again after an n8n update. Those are real questions — they belong to an engagement, not to the price of a file.
Who installed it before you
Nobody other than the author has yet installed it by following the documentation. While that is true, this template is not for sale.
