Privacy policy
The site sets no cookies and calls no third-party server. Two things exist anyway, and you have the right to know what they are.
Last revised: 18 August 2026. Preliminary version, not reviewed by a lawyer, written before the company was incorporated. To be revisited before anything goes on sale, and rechecked if any third-party service is connected.
Who answers for your information
Under Quebec's Law 25, the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Salim Technologies is Salim Shibari, founder.
Write to him at contact@salimtechnologies.com: with a question, to find out what is held about you, to have it corrected, to withdraw your consent, or to ask for de-indexing.
The answer comes in writing, within 30 days.
What is collected
Two things, and nothing beyond them: the host's technical logs, and the email you send me if you decide to write.
No cookies, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts, no audience measurement. Fonts are served from this site's own server, so your IP address never reaches Google or any other font provider.
There is no account, no cart, and no form on this site. Nothing to fill in means nothing to keep.
What the host sees
The site is hosted by Vercel. Every page request leaves a line in its logs: IP address, browser, page, time. That is the bare minimum needed to deliver a file, and it holds for any website.
I do not use them to profile anyone, and I match them against nothing. No audience measurement runs here, not Vercel's own and not another.
What leaves Quebec
Vercel is an American company, and the site's configuration pins no hosting region. Its technical logs may therefore be handled outside Quebec. The US CLOUD Act allows them to be compelled, even when the server holding them sits in Canada.
The contact@salimtechnologies.com mailbox runs on Microsoft 365, also an American company. Whatever you write to me passes through it and stays there as long as I keep it.
There is no other recipient outside Quebec. The day a third-party service is connected — payment, newsletter, audience measurement — the privacy impact assessment Law 25 requires will be done before it is switched on.
If you write to me
An email sent to contact@salimtechnologies.com is kept for as long as it takes to answer you and follow up. It is never sold, and never added to a mailing list.
You can ask for it to be deleted, at the same address.
Filing a complaint
If the way your information is handled does not sit right with you, write to contact@salimtechnologies.com and put Complaint in the subject line. Salim Shibari receives it and handles it himself: the workshop has no complaints department.
You get an acknowledgement, then a written and reasoned answer within 30 days. Every complaint is logged, with its date, what it was about, and what came of it.
You do not have to go through me. Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information takes complaints directly, before or after mine: cai.gouv.qc.ca.
When sales open
No payment is possible today. When that changes, this policy will state exactly which provider processes payments, what data reaches them, and where it is hosted — before the first transaction, not after.
