About

You understand a machine better once you've built it.

Salim Robots is the consumer side of Salim Technologies. Where one works with businesses, this one talks to you directly: the kits, the courses, the tools.

Why kits, and not just courses

A tutorial you watch is forgotten. A robot you soldered, debugged at midnight, and finally got rolling is not.

That's why the kits exist: they give you a reason to finish. The full schematic is in the box, the code is open, and nothing is sealed shut to keep you out.

Who's behind it

Salim Shibari — an artist before a technologist, a musician and a poet, and roughly ten years on the floor before writing any code: logistics, operations, warehouse, and a lab building medical devices under ISO 9001 and 13485.

That experience is what decides what goes in a box. The floor first, the technology second.

And Salim Robot?

Salim Robot is the house mascot — round head, one antenna, violet eyes, three-fingered hands. You'll see him at work on every page: at the forge, at the hammer, or winking at you.

He shares the company's name because he does the same job: showing what gets built rather than describing it.
